Guided support that still feels lively

The Omni ST is Saucony's structured support trainer, aimed at runners who overpronate and want real guidance without a dead, corrective ride. It handles easy and long runs and has enough life in it to pick up the pace.

It runs slightly wide through the length with a tapered forefoot, which suits wider feet more than narrow ones. The midfoot is secure once laced down, helped by a thick gusseted tongue, but heel slippage is the main watch-out: the heel padding is soft and the fit generous, so snug the laces before each run. The heel counter is stiff enough that socks are recommended.
