The Kinvara is the antidote to tall, heavily stacked trainers: low-profile, flexible and light, with a natural feel underfoot. It suits uptempo running and speedwork, and doubles as an affordable race option over shorter distances.

Heel lockdown is excellent thanks to a structured heel counter, with no slippage even in ankle socks, and the midfoot wrap is secure with no bunching. The thinly padded gusseted tongue avoids instep pressure. Essentially no break-in required, with no hot spots reported on the first run. Saucony runs fairly narrow through the midfoot here.
