Maximum cushioning with real support underneath
The Hurricane 26 is Saucony's most cushioned stability shoe, built for runners who need guidance but refuse to give up softness to get it. It suits mild to moderate overpronation across easy running, recovery days and long aerobic miles. It is not a tempo shoe, and it does not pretend to be.
The toebox has been opened up noticeably compared with the Hurricane 25, enough that wide-footed runners report generous room even in the standard width. The heel collar is well padded and the midfoot wrap holds without pressure points, though the upper is high volume, so narrower feet may need to snug the laces. The platform is markedly wider underfoot than previous versions, which makes it feel planted rather than tippy despite the height.
