An updated engineered mesh upper adds softness through the plush heel collar and tongue, while extra XT-900 outsole rubber improves durability over previous versions. • Width and toebox: A generous toebox in both width and vertical volume, one of the roomier stability shoes, and potentially too roomy for narrow feet. Medium, wide and extra-wide offered in men's and women's.
• Fit notes: Midfoot lockdown is secure via a straightforward lacing setup and a lightly padded tongue that avoids lace pressure, with more heel-collar padding than the Guide 18. Some find the collar a little low-cut at step-in and need a lacing adjustment, after which there is no heel movement.
