The Endorphin Speed 5 sits between a daily trainer and a carbon racer. A nylon plate adds snap without the rigidity of carbon, so it stays comfortable at easy pace and comes alive when you pick it up. The most versatile shoe in the Endorphin line, and the one to choose if you want a single fast shoe rather than a dedicated race-day pair.
The main fit story is that the Speed 4's cramped forefoot has been fixed: there is more splay room, pressure relief over the little toe, and extra vertical clearance. It remains low volume through the heel and midfoot with a secure lockdown, so it still holds the foot properly for fast work.
