The waterproof Cloud 6 is built for wet-weather walking, commuting and travel. Like the standard Cloud 6, it is a lifestyle and everyday shoe rather than a performance running shoe, with a membrane added for rain and puddles.
It uses the same last as the standard Cloud 6 but the build is stiffer and less forgiving, and it fits snugger because of the membrane and tighter mesh. The most common complaint is instep tightness and a hard entry, made worse by elastic speed-laces that are difficult to slacken. Feedback is genuinely mixed and comes from retail sources rather than lab testing, so wide feet in particular should try a pair on.
Best for: Wet-weather walking, commuting, travel
Sizing: True to size, though wide feet often go half a size up
Fit: Narrow to standard, snugger than the standard Cloud 6; no wide width
