The Cloud 6 is On's everyday lifestyle shoe: light, breathable and easy to slip on, built for all-day walking, travel, commuting and long shifts rather than performance running. It is the shoe most people picture when they picture On.
The upper and throat opening were widened for this version, so it allows noticeably better toe splay than the Cloud 5, though it remains standard to slightly narrow. The elastic speed-lace system holds the midfoot and heel snugly, but it is not adjustable in the way normal laces are. Higher insteps are generally fine true to size; genuinely wide feet are the main mismatch, since no wide width is offered.
