The Cloudsurfer Trail 2 is a road-to-trail shoe for smooth, non-technical ground: crushed gravel, park paths and rolling terrain, with enough cushioning to make the road sections comfortable.
The toebox is narrow, shallow and angled, which makes the shoe fit short and can cause forefoot discomfort on descents, so going half a size up is worth considering if you are between sizes. The version 2 upper is much more locked down than version 1, arguably too much, giving strong midfoot and heel security but constricting high-volume feet. The thick upper also runs warm.
Best for: Road-to-trail, light trail, smooth terrain
Sizing: True to size, with a half size up worth considering
Fit: Narrow, shallow and low volume; no wide version offered
