The Bondi is HOKA's most cushioned road shoe, built for runners who want the softest possible landing underfoot. It takes the sting out of long runs and recovery days, and its wide, flat base makes it a favourite for walking and all-day wear as much as running.
Heel lockdown is excellent, with a stiff, heavily padded heel counter and large sidewalls that stop any slipping. The forefoot is the divisive part: it is tapered and lower in volume than you might expect, and some runners report mild toe chafing early on. Toebox height is generous even so. If your forefoot is anything above medium, go straight to the wide.
Best for: Recovery runs, long easy miles, walking, all-day comfort
Sizing: True to size
Fit: Narrow to standard and tapered up front; wide and extra-wide offered and often the better choice
