We threw out the rulebook when creating the Skyward X. Pushing soft and smooth to the extreme, this cushy new trainer features a revolutionary suspension system with a convex carbon fiber plate that allows the suspension system to compress and spring back with each step. A soft, highly resilient PEBA foam sits closest to the foot for a lively, cushioned ride, while a super critical EVA frame provides a stable base for your easiest miles yet.
This shoe has recieved the Seal of Approval from the Podiatric Medical Association
The American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) Seal of Acceptance recognizes products that have been found beneficial to foot health. To earn the Seal, each product is reviewed by a group of APMA podiatrists to ensure it promotes foot health.
Sizing
- Length: True to size
- Width and toebox: Normal width with a slightly wider forefoot that tapers quickly at the toe because of a stiff toe guard, and overall volume on the lower side. Prominent midsole sidewalls make the midfoot snug. Medium width only, with no wide option.
- Fit notes: A normal-width heel with moderate padding and a stiffer rounded counter, and most runners get no slippage, though some need the extra lace eyelet in the first few runs. Best suited to lower-volume feet; a wide midfoot or a need for toe splay will find it tight.
