Saucony Hurricane 26 vs Hurricane 25
Hurricane 26 or Hurricane 25? Here’s how they compare on feel, fit, brand specs and price, from the fitting team at The Run House.
The short answer
The Hurricane 26 replaced the Hurricane 25.
A new incrediLUX foam, almost an ounce lighter and a stiffer forefoot, with the same lively bounce.
What changed
- Foam: New incrediLUX foam replaces PWRRUN PB.
- Shape: Stays under 40mm, with a curved midsole and a stiffer forefoot.
- Outsole: Grippier outsole.
- On the run: Stiffer up front. Cushion, bounce and fit about the same.
- Measured: 0.5 oz lighter and 1.9mm less foam under the heel. Drop about the same.
On the run
Hurricane 26: Bouncy max cushion with support. Plush and bouncy, with soft foam held in a supportive frame. Lighter than the Hurricane 25, with the same lively ride.
Hurricane 25: Plush, bouncy stability. Plush, energetic and very stable, with a responsive midsole that’s great for long runs. Its size makes it less agile.
