The Deviate Nitro 4 replaced the Deviate Nitro 3.

What changed
- Upper: Engineered mesh replaces the knit. It’s lighter and more breathable, but less durable at the toe.
- Foam: Softer top foam.
- On the run: Bouncier, stiffer up front and roomier. Cushion about the same.
- Measured: 0.8 oz lighter, 3.8mm less foam under the heel and drop down from 10.1mm to 7mm.

On the run
Deviate Nitro 4: Carbon-plated, everyday speed. A PEBA top layer over a stiff carbon plate makes it smooth and quick from tempo runs to long runs. It’s firmer at slow paces than at speed.
Deviate Nitro 3: Carbon-plated tempo trainer. Fast and snappy, with a carbon plate that loves tempo runs and handles every pace. Grippy, and agile on tight turns.

Deviate Nitro 4. True to size with a secure heel. It’s roomier than earlier Deviates, though the toebox still measures on the narrow side. Wide available.
Deviate Nitro 3. Runs slightly short, so if you’re between sizes, go up a half. The toebox is narrow.
